FERDOR is an interspecific hybrid of the Saint-Julien plum (Prunus insititia) and the Pershore variety (Prunus domestica). It is a rootstock that induces low to medium vigor, contributing to the creation of trees with a limited size and early entry into fruit bearing.

The plant is well adapted to compact and wet soils, although it is less preferred for use in highly calcareous soils. The rootstock is compatible with various peach varieties.

It is propagated primarily by micropropagation or cuttings, with the cutting process requiring stimulation. A characteristic feature is the tendency to produce root suckers.
