The object is not intended for fruit production and is used exclusively as a rootstock for stone fruit crops, in particular peach. Varieties grafted onto this rootstock are characterized by good yield and high fruit quality.

The rootstock is adapted for cultivation on dry and calcareous soils. It possesses relative resistance to bacterial canker, however, it is sensitive to root asphyxia in waterlogged conditions and is susceptible to Verticillium wilt.
