The hybrid is a short tree up to 10 meters in height with a loose, rounded crown, the branches of which often have a weeping form. The plant's leaves are elliptical or oblong-ovate with serrated edges. The flowers are fragrant, have a white or pinkish color, and are gathered in inflorescences.
In natural conditions, the plant is rarely encountered. It is primarily grown in collections as a botanical specimen or an ornamental planting.
