The variety was bred in Sweden in 1932 from the parent forms Worcester Pearmain and Oranie. The fruits are approximately 62 mm in width and 53 mm in height, yellow in color with a red blush.
The apples are intended for fresh consumption. Harvesting takes place in September, and the consumption period covers September and October.
In conditions where no chemical treatment against fungal diseases is applied, the variety has shown high resistance to infection by the scab Venturia inaequalis.
