The variety is a mutation of the Gala apple. The fruits are medium-sized, weighing 150–180 g, round-conical in shape with slight ribbing. The ground color is yellow with an intense red blush or stripes, which distinguishes it from the base variety by a more saturated color. The flesh is firm, juicy, and sweet.
The tree can have varying vigor depending on the rootstock, from medium-sized to dwarf columnar forms. It belongs to autumn varieties, maturing approximately one month earlier than the Golden Delicious variety. The variety is precocious and requires the presence of pollinators such as Fuji or Golden Delicious.
The variety possesses good winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to –28°C. At the same time, the tree is susceptible to scab and European canker.
