The rootstock promotes the onset of fruit bearing in the second year after planting. The root system is located at a depth of up to 40 cm, which requires trees to have constant support due to weak anchorage.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness. It is not affected by powdery mildew and demonstrates relative resistance to scab. In nurseries, the rootstock is characterized by a good ability to propagate by layering and compatibility with regionalized apple varieties.
