The object is used exclusively as a dwarf rootstock for grafting apple varieties. It is characterized as a low-vigor rootstock, providing trees with very weak growth, sometimes exceeding the dwarfing effect of the M.9 rootstock.
When using this rootstock, trees enter into fruiting in the second year after planting and demonstrate high efficiency. Due to the pronounced weak growth of trees when using it, dense planting schemes are recommended. The rootstock is also characterized by frost resistance and tolerance to low temperatures.
