The fruits of the variety are small or medium in size, round or irregularly ovoid in shape, and turn purple-black upon ripening. The pit is difficult to separate from the flesh. The oil is characterized by a fruity taste and mild pungency with no pronounced bitterness.
The variety has good resistance to low temperatures, the olive fruit fly, and the olive moth. The plant is sensitive to peacock spot (Spilocaea oleaginea) and shows medium sensitivity to grey mold.
