The tree is characterized as vigorous and tall, reaching 3–6 meters, with a rounded, dense canopy that requires regular pruning. The fruits are medium to large in size, round or ovoid in shape with a characteristic small, offset nipple. Upon ripening, they quickly turn black and can become slightly wrinkled.

The variety is early-ripening; ripening can begin from October 15. The tree is self-fertile and demonstrates stable yields; the fruits are prone to quick drop. The plant is resistant to strong winds and exposure to sea spray. The resulting oil has a mild, not overly pungent taste with fruity notes.
