Variety description

10 August 2026

The Cucco variety is a vigorous tree with an open canopy. Its fruits, weighing about 4 g, have an oval asymmetric shape. The plant is characterized by early ripening, cold tolerance, but susceptibility to bacterial canker and low rooting ability. It is used both for oil production and as a table olive.

The Ortice variety has medium vigor and an upright canopy shape. Its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, brining, drying, and for the production of high-quality olive oil.
