The Curivell variety is a local Spanish variety, distributed mainly in the province of Girona. It is among the varieties authorized for the production of Extra Virgin olive oil within the protected designation of origin Oli de l’Empordà.

The oil obtained from the fruits of this variety possesses a fruity aroma, a tendency toward sweetness upon ripening, and a slight pungency in the aftertaste. In terms of biological characteristics, the variety is classified as non-pollen-producing and has also been considered in studies regarding susceptibility to anthracnose.
