The tree is distinguished by an open crown shape of medium density and lanceolate leaves of medium length. The fruits have an ovoid, slightly asymmetrical shape and an average weight of about 4 g. When mature, they are colored in a wine-greenish shade. The pulp-to-pit ratio is approximately 6.
The variety enters bearing late and is characterized by irregularity of yield by years. Flowering is early; the variety is self-incompatible, produces a small amount of pollen with a high level of ovary abortion. The variety is sensitive to olive knot and moderately susceptible to peacock spot.
