The Cua de Cirera variety is a local cultivar adapted to the climatic conditions of the Pallars Jussà comarca. Trees of this variety demonstrate high resistance to low temperatures, which allows them to be successfully cultivated in high-altitude climate conditions.
Oil obtained from the fruits of this variety has a pronounced fruity aroma, as well as an intense bitter and pungent taste. Conducted studies note a high content of natural antioxidants, particularly polyphenols, in the product's composition.
