The Trep variety plant has medium to low vigor, forming a sparse and spreading crown of a semi-pendulous shape. The fruits, during the ripening process, which occurs gradually between mid-September and mid-November, acquire a black-purple color with a characteristic bloom.
The variety is distributed mainly in the northern regions of Italy, such as Trentino, Veneto, and Lombardy. The productivity of this olive variety is estimated as low and is subject to periodicity.
