The tree of the variety has medium or weak vigor and a spreading, ascending crown. The fruit has a medium size and an ovoid shape with a truncate base and a rounded apex. The productivity of the variety is estimated as medium; at present, it is rare.

The oil of the variety is characterized by an intense or medium fruity taste with notes of fresh almond, grass, leaves, and artichoke, possessing a balanced bitterness and pungency. The oil content in the fruits is about 16–18%. The variety is used for the production of Extra Virgin oil, often in blends with other local varieties.

The plant has low susceptibility to peacock spot and medium or above-average resistance to olive knot. The variety is a local genotype adapted to the conditions of the Majella foothills and is preserved to maintain the biodiversity of regional olive growing.
