The variety is a local traditional cultivar, not a product of breeding. Currently, it is being studied and conserved at specialized scientific institutions, including the Germplasm Bank in Tarragona, as part of programs for the restoration of biological diversity.

The oil obtained from the fruits of this variety has an intense flavor with bitter, pungent, and astringent notes, as well as a fresh aroma characteristic of green olives. The variety is of interest for the production of unique local products and the diversification of agricultural production.

Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as precise ripening times, tree height parameters, or specific data on disease resistance, are not provided in the publications.
