10 August 2026
The variety originates from the Sabina area (Lazio region) and is cultivated in the communes of Marcellina, Palombara Sabina, San Polo dei Cavalieri, and Tivoli. Trees have medium vigor, a spreading habit, and a canopy of medium density.
The fruits have an ovoid, slightly asymmetric shape. The flesh is distinguished by high density and a high flesh-to-pit ratio. The variety is primarily used for olive oil production.
The resulting oil has high fluidity, a persistent aftertaste, and an aromatic profile with hints of artichoke, apple, and exotic fruits. The polyphenol content is estimated as medium to low.
