The ROSCIOLA NOSTRANA variety is a local Italian olive variety common in the province of Rome. The tree has medium growth vigor and is considered an important genetic resource requiring protection within the framework of regional biodiversity conservation programs.

The variety is used for the production of Extra Virgin olive oil. The product is distinguished by a pronounced herbaceous aroma with hints of artichoke, a high polyphenol content, and medium-intense bitter and spicy notes in the taste.

ROSCIOLA NOSTRANA is adapted to difficult growing conditions, including rocky soils where mechanization is difficult. The variety differs from the similarly named Rosciola variety by a more pronounced green fruity profile in the oil's taste.
