The tree is characterized by high vigor and an upright crown habit. The variety belongs to the mid-season flowering group and possesses a relatively short juvenile period before the onset of the first fruit bearing.

The variety is female, therefore, for harvesting in commercial orchards, it is necessary to have male pollinator trees that bloom during suitable periods. The variety is traditionally used in commercial nut farming and is frequently included in variety testing programs to evaluate climatic adaptation.
