The variety belongs to the group of old plum forms Kræge and is sometimes classified as the subspecies Prunus domestica subsp. insititia or Prunus domestica subsp. pomariorum. In old pomological descriptions, it is identified with the Gul abrikosblomme variety. Trees of this variety were historically used to create hedges.
The fruits are yellow in color, their size is about 4.0–4.2 cm, and the weight can exceed 25 g. The variety belongs to the late maturity category. Propagation occurs through root suckers. The fruits are suitable for culinary processing, in particular for making jams.
