CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing the Bosc and Beurré Diel varieties. The tree has medium or moderately vigorous growth, forming an upright, unevenly growing crown. For cultivation, it is recommended to use seedlings as rootstock or quince rootstocks to limit growth.
The fruits are large, bottle-shaped, have straw-yellow skin, sometimes with a pink-red blush and brown lenticels. The flesh is cream-colored, buttery, very juicy, with a sweet-and-sour flavor profile.
Harvesting takes place in the second half or at the end of September; consumer maturity is reached in mid-October. The variety is characterized by regular high yields; when stored in a refrigerator, the fruits can maintain their marketability until January.
