The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization of the varieties «Uvedale’s St. Germain» and «Williams’ Bon Chrétien». The tree is low-growing or moderately vigorous, having a compact, often broad-pyramidal crown. Harvesting maturity of the fruits occurs in the second half of September, consumer maturity in November–December.
Fruits weighing 150–270 g have a pear-shaped form and a lumpy surface. The skin color at ripening changes from greenish-yellow to light yellow. The flesh is white, juicy, melting, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a muscat aroma.
The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinators. Trees are susceptible to scab, fire blight, powdery mildew, and stone cells in the fruit. The variety is prone to shedding mature fruits, therefore it requires timely harvesting.
