The variety forms a vigorous long-lived tree with a slender crown. Fruits ripen in October and have a smooth pale yellow surface. The white or slightly yellowish flesh is characterized by a buttery texture, juiciness, and a sweet aroma.
The plant is productive but late to come into bearing. The variety is not sufficiently winter-hardy and is susceptible to fire blight. The fruits tolerate storage and transport well; the variety is also used in breeding as a parent form.
