Variety description

The variety was obtained in 1973 as a result of crossing the Tervishoiunõunik and Saaremaa punane varieties. The tree is characterized by medium vigor, good disease resistance, and satisfactory winter hardiness, which allows it to be grown in northern conditions.

The fruits are pear-shaped, weigh about 100 g, and ripen in August. The flesh is red or pinkish-red, has a sweet taste with slight acidity, and contains stone cells. The fruits are not prone to dropping when overripe, but are characterized by a short shelf life after harvest.
