The variety forms large trees with a wide crown, the height of which depends on the rootstock and cultivation practices. The fruits have a cylindrical shape, often with swellings, and turn yellow with small grey dots upon ripening. The white flesh has a juicy, buttery consistency and a sweet or sweet-and-sour taste.

The period of fruit consumption falls in the winter months from November to February. The variety is characterized as frost-hardy and high-yielding. Historical data indicate moderate tree growth vigor, as well as susceptibility to scab and fire blight.

The fruits are primarily used as dessert fruits for fresh consumption, but are also suitable for processing. The variety has historical significance as breeding material for developing new hybrids.
