The tree is vigorous, forming a high-pyramidal crown. Flowering is early; the variety is self-sterile, so pollinators such as Conference or Beurré Clairgeau are necessary to obtain a yield.

Fruits are medium-sized, pear-shaped or conical. The skin is smooth, light yellow with a reddish blush. The flesh is tender, juicy, with a pleasant musky aroma. Harvest maturity occurs from mid-August to early September.

The variety possesses winter hardiness and drought tolerance. It is resistant to major fungal diseases; however, under unfavorable conditions, it may be affected by scab and show susceptibility to fire blight. The storage life of the fruits is limited.
