The tree has medium to strong growth vigor, with an upright canopy. The variety is compatible with quince rootstocks, but vigorous rootstocks are preferred. Fruits have a regular shape, green-yellow skin with a possible orange blush, smooth, with lenticels. The flesh is sweet, juicy, and melting.

The variety is early maturing, the harvest ripens in mid-August, and the storage life of the fruits is very short (1–3 days). It is characterized by high winter hardiness (USDA zone 5) and resistance to scab. It is self-incompatible; for fruiting, it requires the presence of pollinator trees such as Conference, Williams, or Louise Bonne d'Avranches.
