The variety belongs to the group of deciduous rhododendrons, also known as deciduous azaleas. The plant was obtained by crossing the 'Uguns' variety and seedling No. Ex-5.
The flowers have a funnel-shaped tubular form with wavy petal edges; the flower size is approximately 85 by 85 mm. The dome-shaped inflorescences combine approximately 8 flowers.
