The variety is a natural hybrid between the Visparola variety and an unknown variety. It has no close relationship with the Carcaghjolu neru variety. A wine grape with high productivity, requiring a hot dry climate to reach maturity, while possessing low sugar accumulation potential.

The flower is hermaphroditic. The leaf is dark green, deeply lobed, with 5-9 lobes, slightly pubescent on the underside. The bunch is large, cylindrical, and dense. The berry is medium-sized, round, white in color, with a thick waxy bloom, juicy flesh, and neutral flavor.

The variety is susceptible to powdery mildew and grey mold. Wines made from it are characterized by high acidity, moderate or low alcohol content, and a specific aroma.
