Variety description

10 August 2026

French variety, known since the beginning of the XVI century. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth. Clusters are small, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, medium density or loose. Berries are small, rounded, greenish-white in color, covered with a waxy bloom, with thick skin.

The variety has low productivity and low frost resistance. Resistance to major fungal diseases is low, however, due to the looseness of the cluster and the thick skin of the berries, the variety resists gray mold well. Requires mandatory tying to a trellis.

A unique feature of the variety is the high level of acidity even during late harvesting. This allows berries to be left on the vine until December to obtain raisin-like grapes, which are used to produce wines with aromas of exotic fruits, honey, peach, and spices.
