Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is characterized by medium-sized leaves and small black berries with thick skin and a pronounced waxy bloom. The clusters are usually small, cylindrical-conical, and loose in structure. The plant has medium vigor, well-ripening canes, and is quite heat-loving.

Due to its late ripening, the variety requires careful management, being sensitive to spring frosts because of its early bud break. Wines based on it are distinguished by a high tannin content and a complex aromatic profile, including notes of violet, plum, blackberry, licorice, sage, and black pepper.
