The variety is late or very late, ripening 5–5.5 weeks after Chasselas. The vine is vigorous, with hermaphrodite flowers. Leaves are medium or large, three- or five-lobed, deeply cut, with bristly pubescence on the underside.

Clusters are cylindroconical, medium to large, of medium density. Berries are medium to large, oval, varying in color from white-pink to red depending on the yield. Skin is of medium thickness, pulp is juicy with a simple taste.

The variety has high drought tolerance, is sensitive to downy mildew, moderately susceptible to powdery mildew and black spot, and may have a tendency to coulure. It prefers light calcareous soils and demonstrates the best results when grown in high-altitude areas.
