The variety is the result of a natural cross between Savagnin Blanc and an unknown variety. It is a vigorous plant with early bud break and a medium-early ripening period. The variety shows resistance to downy mildew but is susceptible to powdery mildew.

Bunches are of medium or small size and conical in shape. Berries are short, elliptical, yellow-green in color with colorless flesh and a muscat flavor. Wines from this variety are characterized by high acidity and a distinct floral, herbaceous, or fruity aroma.

The variety is known under the following synonyms: Blanco Legítimo, Blanco Verdín, Raposo, Blanca Lexitima, Branco Lexítimo.
