The variety is characterized by high vine vigor. Bunches are small or medium, cylindrical-conical, winged, and very compact. Berries are small or medium, slightly oval, whitish-greenish-yellow in color, and covered by a skin of medium thickness. The yield of the variety is high and consistent.
The variety belongs to the early-mid or mid-season maturity group. The plant possesses good resistance to sea winds but is not resistant to frost. The variety is characterized as susceptible or moderately susceptible to fungal diseases such as downy mildew and powdery mildew and requires good ventilation of the site.
The primary use is wine production; in Liguria, it is sometimes used as a table grape. In blends, it imparts freshness and structure to wines. Varietal wines are described as full-bodied, with floral and herbaceous notes and aromas of citrus and green apple.
