The variety is of natural origin and is considered autochthonous to the Apulia region. The vine is characterized by high vigor, requiring control through pruning. Clusters are medium, conical or cylindrical-conical in shape, often with a wing, and are highly compact. Berries are medium-sized, round, white in color, with a waxy bloom and medium-thickness skin.
Flowers are hermaphroditic. Leaves are round, five-lobed, slightly or moderately dissected, with practically no pubescence on the underside. The variety is characterized by relatively high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, but shows sensitivity to frosts. Yield ranges from medium to high.
