The variety is vigorous and characterized by high, regular yields. To obtain a high-quality harvest, it requires deep, fertile, and moderately moist soils. A high susceptibility to Botrytis cinerea is noted.
Wines from this variety are distinguished by fresh acidity in the range of 5.5–6.5 g/l and an alcohol content of 12% to 13%. The color of the finished product varies from greenish-yellow to golden. The variety is used both for creating varietal wines and as part of blends.
