The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid containing genes of Vitis vinifera, Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, and Vitis rupestris. Bushes have medium to below-medium vigor and produce a small number of lateral shoots. Clusters are characterized as large and loose, which reduces the risk of rot, and the berries are dark blue or violet in color.
The variety is intended for winemaking; the wine produced from it has a ruby-red color with fruit notes and harmonious tannins. Juice sugar content reaches 22%, acidity is 6–7 g/l. Due to high resistance to powdery mildew, downy mildew, and gray mold, the variety is suitable for cultivation in regions with cool climates.
