The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing the Merlan and Fratava varieties. The plant forms medium-sized, round, weakly three-lobed leaves. The bunches are small or medium, conical in shape, and of medium density. The berries are small or medium, round, dark blue or almost black in color with a waxy bloom and weakly colored flesh.

The variety belongs to the late or very late category: full maturity occurs at the end of October or the beginning of November, therefore it requires sunny locations. It is characterized by low or medium yields. It shows resistance to Botrytis cinerea and powdery mildew, as well as medium resistance to downy mildew. Wine from this variety possesses high sugar content, intense color, and a fruity-spicy aroma.
