The variety is used primarily in winemaking for the production of light white and sparkling wines, often in blends with other local varieties. Due to the functionally female flower type, the variety requires cross-pollination, so it must be planted next to other pollinator varieties.

Wines produced from this variety are characterized by a light body, high acidity, freshness, and the absence of pronounced tannins; they are recommended for consumption at a young age. The variety is adapted to the Mediterranean conditions of the Dalmatian islands.
