Clone Bb.75/1 was obtained from material of the Chardonnay 75 variety. Like the base variety, it belongs to technical grapevine varieties with medium vine vigor.
The clone possesses the ability for a higher level of sugar accumulation and yield compared to the base Chardonnay. The plant is characterized by medium frost resistance and sensitivity to grey mold and powdery mildew.
The variety is intended for the production of high-quality dry and sparkling white wines. Its morphological traits correspond to the characteristics of the Chardonnay variety.
