Variety description

The variety is the result of a natural interspecific cross between the Munson variety and an unknown representative of the Vitis vinifera species. The vines are characterized by good shoot maturation. Clusters are medium-sized, slightly conical in shape, and dense. Berries are medium-sized, round, dark blue in color, with mucilaginous pulp and a faint foxy flavor.

The grape has good compatibility with common rootstocks. The variety is not resistant to frost (down to -15...-18°C) or phylloxera. It is intended for the production of ordinary and fortified sweet wines. Juice sugar content is 18–22.6% with an acidity of 8–10 g/l.
