The name "Cot" is widely known as a synonym for the wine grape variety Malbec, which is also called Auxerrois, Pressac, and other names in different regions.
This variety is unrelated to the Hungarian wine company Hilltop Neszmély Zrt., and confusion may arise due to the existence of a series of fruit crops, such as apricots, that include the word "Cot" in their name.
