Variety description

The variety has medium-vigor bushes with semi-erect shoots. The leaves are pentagonal, three- or five-lobed. Clusters are small or medium-sized, dense, cylindrical or slightly shouldered in shape.

Berries are small, round, dark blue in color with an intense waxy bloom, possessing thin but firm skin and juicy pulp with a neutral taste. The variety ripens in mid-October.

The plant has high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, and is distinguished by winter hardiness, although it can be affected by 'flavescence dorée'. Wine from this variety is characterized by a ruby-red color, lively acidity, and pronounced tannins.
