The Fanny (R-78) variety is a product of the crossbreeding of Seyve-Villard 12375 Eger 2 × (Téli muskotály × Olimpia). The bushes are vigorous, with yellowish-brown vines and medium-large five-lobed leaves. The vegetation period is about 131 days, with ripening occurring at the end of August — early September.

The bunches are large, on average 437–440 g, loose and branched. The berries are large, weighing 5.5 g, white or yellowish-pink in color. The flesh is firm and crunchy with a neutral harmonious taste and inconspicuous seeds. The tough skin ensures high transportability of the fruits.

The variety possesses good resistance to downy mildew, medium resistance to powdery mildew, and bud frost resistance down to -19°C. Suitable for organic cultivation with reduced chemical treatment, yield reaches 15–18 t/ha.
