The variety originates from France and is the result of a natural cross between the Traminer and Chenin Blanc varieties. The vine has medium to strong vigor and is susceptible to grey mold and powdery mildew.
The grape leaf is medium-sized, rounded, and deeply lobed. The cluster is cylindrical, compact, and small to medium in size. The berries are small to medium, rounded, and greenish-white in color, sometimes with a yellowish-pink hue.
The products are characterized by high acidity and a pronounced aromatic profile, including notes of gooseberry, blackcurrant leaf, citrus, and herbaceous undertones.
