The grape variety «Gold Finger» is a table interspecific hybrid (Vitis labrusca L. × Vitis vinifera L.) with an early or early-mid maturity group (110–120 days). The bushes are characterized by above-average vigor. Conical-shaped clusters have medium density and weigh 500–800 g. Elongated curved berries weighing 5–7 g are colored from light green to golden-yellow.
The taste characteristics of the variety are distinguished by a caramel-fruit flavor with honey and toffee notes, as well as a high sugar content (up to 22–24%). Resistance to fungal diseases is above average, frost hardiness is about –20…–22°С, and it requires winter cover. Transportability is rated as medium or low.
There are other varieties with similar names: the Moldovan seedless variety «Gold Kishmish» with reddish-purple berries and frost hardiness up to –24°С, as well as the American seedless variety «Gold», developed in 1951.
