The variety belongs to the late-ripening category and requires a warm growing season. The bushes are characterized by vigorous growth. The leaf is medium, five-lobed, with dense pubescence on the underside. The clusters are medium, elongated; the berries are medium or small in size, round, dark blue or almost black in color with thick skin.
The plant adapts well to various soils, including volcanic ones, and possesses high natural acidity. The produce is used exclusively for technical purposes for the production of dense red wines with rich color and significant aging potential.
