The variety belongs to the late ripening group and is characterized by vigorous vine growth. The leaves are medium-sized, heart-shaped, five-lobed with shallow lateral sinuses. The flower is hermaphroditic; the cluster is medium-sized, pyramidal in shape, and moderately loose.
The plant possesses resistance to various grapevine diseases. It is used as a wine grape variety for the production of low-acid red wines, traditionally used for making the dessert wine Prošek. Currently, the variety is considered rare and in need of revitalization.
