The vines are vigorous and characterized by early bud break. Clusters are small or medium-sized, cylindrical and very dense. Berries are medium-sized, round, green to golden-yellow in color, with thin skin.

The variety has winter hardiness on par with typical European varieties, but is sensitive to gray mold and chlorosis. With high yields, the vines are prone to exhaustion, therefore short pruning is recommended.

Wines from this variety have a neutral structure, softness, low acidity and moderate alcohol content. The characteristics include aromas of stone fruits, lime and notes of black pepper.
