The variety is a wine grape and is permitted for use in the production of wines with protected designation of origin, as well as sparkling wines. In the literature, it is classified as a minor variety, characterized by high acidity levels.
Aromatic profile studies revealed the presence of floral, fruity, and oily notes, attributed to the content of esters, linalool, and octanoic acid. Genetic identification of the variety was performed using microsatellite markers.
Data on a specific maturity group, as well as quantitative indicators of disease resistance, are not presented in open publications.
